Solving the problem of R22

If you have an AC system over twelve years old, it is likely that it uses R22 refrigerant. However, R22 is now soon to be banned because of its environmental impact. Some companies are using this information to scare people into upgrading their systems. We think that's wrong. Here's the simple truth: Here's the simple truth:

R22 gas will not be available after the end of 2014. As of 1st of January 2015, R22 gas is no longer available. This means if an R22 system breaks down after this point, depending on the cause of the breakdown, repair may not be possible. Upgrading now will give you a chance to prepare a minimum disruption plan – rather than a stressful rush in the event of a breakdown. Bear in mind that the average lifespan of an AC system is 10-12 years. If your system is at the older end of the scale, a replacement plan may well be your best option.

We can help you achieve a smooth, hassle-free transition to a new energy efficient system - and get ahead of the game. We've already helped many clients upgrade, see case study
